In pursuance of its policy of professionalism, the Joss Institute of Management and Information Technology (JIMIT) would be launching a radio specifically designed to train students of the Journalism and Mass Communication specialty.

The radio named, Radio JIMIT would go on air by the end of the year 2019. A two-floor building has been constructed at the campus to host the offices, conference room and studios of the radio.

Radio JIMIT shall be a campus radio with programmes aimed at given students practical experience in broadcast journalism. However, it shall also be opened to the public as a tool for social communication.
