Who we are
Joss Institute of Management and Information Technology (JIMIT) is accredited under the University Governance Act of 1993, as well as by authorization No. 074/MINEFOP/SG/DFOP/SDGSF/SAOD issued by the Ministry of Employment and Vocational Training, as well as two separate ministerial orders issued by the Ministry of Higher Education; Order 16 – 06587/L/MINESUP/SG/DDES/ESUP/SDA/OAGS, and Order 18 – 00664/MINESUP/SG/DDES/ESUP/SDA/LMN.
Since 2011, JIMIT has been responding to the growing needs of Cameroonians and nationals of the sub-region by offering quality education at two levels. Vocational and higher education.
At the professional level, training is offered in the fields of management, administration, information and technological sciences and health sciences. The aim is to meet the aspirations of those who have not been able to access university/higher education. They are sanctioned by the award of a diploma in the specific field.
Through the JIMIT Higher Institute, programs are designed to meet the growing demands of professionals from government institutions, national and international organizations, NGOs, INGOs, faith-based organizations, and churches. The courses focus mainly on administration, finance, communication, health sciences and information sciences and technologies. Training takes place at four different levels; Pre-university levels (capacity), BTS, Bachelor's and Master's degrees.
JIMIT operates two campuses;
Operating within the framework of the bilingualism policy as enshrined in the Constitution of Cameroon, JIMIT offers courses in French and English.
JIMIT professors come from academics and academics with practical and theoretical experience.
Over the years, JIMIT graduates have been able to find employment in national and international organizations, public and private institutions. Some have also become full-fledged entrepreneurs.
Basically, JIMIT offers quality, flexible and affordable education to all strata of society.
